Hydroponics In Qatar made possible

My Styro Grow Box on SNAP

Consist of styro grapes container which i got from one fruitstand here in Qatar, styro cups which cost me QAR2.25 ( 29.25 in Philippine Peso). And I used mixture of coco coir and perlite as my growing medium and of course SNAP Solution "can't grow without it". In the picture are Lettuce, Upland Kangkong, Eggplant and Baguio beans which now I called Qatar Beans. lol... I harvested a lot of it from this system.

My EBB n Flow ( 11 Plant Soda Bottle )

I made this sytem since 2006, i still got the first picture of this system inside my room in Al Khor wherein i used 300watts Metal Hallide Lamp but it didn't succeeded since I used a different brand of nutrients. But now it is again operational and i have harvested a lot of crops on it. I used PVC pipe (3/4" if i am not mistaken ) and soda bottles. For the pump i got a small aquirium pump enough to push the nuts to each bottle and as you can see i used an styro ice box as my nutrients reservoir. For my growing media I used expanded clay.  This time I used it outdoor.

My Windowsill System

It was so amazing to find out that during the time of economic turmoil we will discover that those considered trash can be a good source of food or even profit for anyone. Here in this system, a very cheap materials from almost thrown trash I have made my windowsill system. I used a half gallon Ice Cream container, a half liter Ice Cream cup, Styro cup and Expanded Clay. This photo was taken 2 months ago, on the pictures below (after 2) months you will find the fruit of my bittergourd ( actually there are 4 fruits hanging from that vine ).
